Hi! I’m Lori “Vegas” Ballen, a Keller Williams Real Estate Agent. Today, I’ll show you how to use KW Command to create and send a Newsletter.
At this time, you can design a newsletter using one of 2 templates inside KW Command campaigns. To send a mass email (broadcast email), you will need to have Mailchimp connected.

Mailchimp has various pricing options in which you’ll want to explore before you start using lists.
If you are using another email autoresponder program, you can likely sync them using Piesync.
Piesync is a 3rd party integration that works with KW Command to sync the data between two databases.
If you would like to hire someone to create these integrations for you, call Jeff and Paul Helvin at Command Leads of Ballen Brands“>Ballen Brands. 702-917-0755.
Log in to KW Command

You can log in to KW Command at agent.kw.com
Create a New Campaign
This is the megaphone on the left column that takes you to KW Command campaigns.
When the box opens, choose Email
Campaign Name – Type the name of the email campaign in this field.
Campaign Goal – Create a campaign goal by clicking the drop-down and choosing buyer awareness.
Choose the account your email will be sent from. This is the email you set up to use with Mailchimp.
If you have connected MailChimp in the KW Command settings, you should see the email auto-populated or drop-down options to select the appropriate email.
Next, choose the Recipient List from the drop-down menu. This is the “audience” that you want to get the email.
You can also choose to Add a list using the provided form. You can save it and then select it from the drop-down menu.
Next, choose the Sender’s name and reply to Email. Then, enter the subject line that would appear in the email. This is the subject line that appears to the reader receiving the email.
Choose either the templates provided by KW or one from “My Templates” if you created one in designs.
You will notice fields already filled in if you have completed your marketing profile in KWcommand.

Don’t hesitate to change any of the fields here as well. You can update the preview to see what appears in the newsletter.
Design

When you have made satisfactory changes, click Apply Design.
Title and SubTitle Appear at the top of the newsletter side by side.

If you chose one of the 2 templates provided, you’ll notice each section has a Headline, Description, Image, and a button with a call to action and link.

Be sure to note the image sizes allowed for each section.
You can also crop them if the images are too large, but be careful not to cut off the important text in the image if there is any.
You can also attach a link to any image. This is a URL or web address where someone is redirected to when clicking on the image.
I suggest putting the CTA Link you use in the button, also in the image.

You can open KW Command Designs in a new tab to create your images or use a 3rd party designer like Canva.7eqqol.net/j0Oae” title=”Canva”>Canva if you prefer.

Next, click save as draft or click ‘send immediately’ to send your email. To confirm sending, click Send Now.
To view your emails after sending, click on the emails filter at the top of campaigns.
